About Author

Mariam Kazmi lives in Seattle, Washington, with her family and pet bird. As a rising author and the co-Founder of English 1 on 1, Mariam strives to break the language barriers that are prevalent in her own community and worldwide. Mariam loves intriguing historical fiction novels and mysteries. She has been writing short stories for as long as she can remember. Footsteps to Freedom is her debut novel completed when she was fifteen.
